today i hv attended CBT........questions r simple n based on numbers,percentage,profit n loss,time n work,prob on interest,Log,Simplification,dice related problems,pipes,PR to trains....so go through RK Agrwal,solve simple problems....and also read logical reasoning,meaning,paragraph....

HI friends,yesterday(11 June)i attend my cbt test in saveetha eng college. questions are very simple.
test pattern:
They are 4 section:
1. English(25 question 25 minutes)
2.apps(25 question 35 minutes)
3.logical question( 25 question 35 minutes)
4. technical(8 question not exact but i thing 20min)
in section 4 technical long passage gave me(like comprehension then ask 8 question)dont worry guys be cool all best... this is my site

In this blog it is also mentioned that bca students can also sit for the exam but when tried to register ,bca option is not there.....that means it is only for MCA,BE/BTech

test was a 2 day process on 28(saturday)
written and gd was conducted.
my gd topic was
should engineers leave the country for jobs?
it was a group of 12
i was numbered as 2
i was one of three in 12 has supported that engineers should go anywhere for their jobs
its simple folks y b'cos IBM has its spots all over the world dats why i talked in favour of the topic even i do not want to go out to do the job leaving hyderabad but u should talk according to situation
on 29 sunday technical and hr was conducted for me technical was conducted for about 40 min
concentrate on projects very very well.
and the things u kept in resume.
coming to hr u cannot fake to ibm hr's they will catch you.
finally results were announced at 2:00 clock i was selected as one in 60

@Manjunath M: 1st round was gd.. in my gd there were 15 members..they asked us 2 select our own topic..and v decided IMPACT OF MEDIA ON SOCIETY as topic.. b bold and confident.. atleast speak twice or thrice..then u can surely get through easily..2nd round personal interview.. it was juz a formal interview lik abt ur self, skoolin,family background tatz it..no tech questions..al de best..

its just not more than 5 min for each person.. it depends on hr.. for me, he din ask me any tech ques.. its just, "tell me abt urself", "challenges you faced in ur life".. den abt working outside tamilnadu.. some general...
only thing they expect is "confidence" in our talk.. we shud communicate well with them.. for my fren,there s some tech ques.. but very very basic..lik diff b/w c and c++.. etc..

they havent declared the results yet.. i am very tensed abt my result.
for all those guys who are going to attend the GD and interview , i am hereby sharing my experience

guys first off all let me tell u. The Gd and interview round is very simple...not that much tough as i expected before giving it.
all u need is to show ur CONFIDENCE and FLUENCY.
my gd was good and i was very lucky cuz i got the chance to start the GD. and hardly said 2-3 points only.
my topic was "TEACHING AS A PROFESSION"
there were 20 guys in my group out of which 12 got selected!..
gd is the elimination round... guys just try to speak few ponts with confidence. Only those guys got rejected who didnt spoke well in the gd.
gd result was announced in 5 min.
after that we went for HR round. actuallt its a technical/HR round cuz they will ask some question abt ur FINAL YEAR PROJECT.
JUST be confident in that.
my interview took a bit more time in compare to others.
the HR was very cool .
he told me first" tell me abt urself"
i told..
hr-- wat was ur project.
i explained well .
as i did some work in robotics so he was a bit impressed n asked some questions abt that.
lastly he asked-- "for how much time wud u like to work for mphasis?
i explained..
also asked "where wud i prefer to work.. in india or abroad?..
waat i think that my interview was good...n hr was very happy..
right now am waiting for my results... n very nervous abt that...cuz in the end wat matters is the "LUCK".
